Love my new iPad but I sadly have to exchange for a new one, the screen keeps glitching and making these multi-colored lines all over. Super weird and apparently can only be fixed by taking off the screen and repairing which I know is gonna cost over $100. Lasted a couple weeks before started malfunctioning. Love it while it lasted, hopefully the new one is not as defective.

I've been using the Apple 10.2-inch iPad 8th Gen for some time now, and it has proven to be a reliable and capable tablet. While it may not be the flashiest or most feature-packed device, it does many things well. Here's why I've given it a 4-star rating: Performance: The A12 Bionic chip inside this iPad provides snappy performance for most tasks. Apps load quickly, and multitasking is reasonably smooth, making it suitable for both work and entertainment. Retina Display: The 10.2-inch Retina display is sharp and vibrant, making video playback, web browsing, and reading a pleasure. It's great for media consumption and general use. Build Quality: Apple's build quality is second to none. The iPad 8th Gen feels solid and well-constructed, which gives it a premium touch. iPadOS: The iPadOS is a versatile operating system, and it keeps getting better with each update. It offers a robust app ecosystem and multitasking capabilities that make it a useful tool for productivity. Apple Pencil Support: If you're into note-taking or digital art, the Apple Pencil support is a significant advantage. It's precise and responsive, making it a great accessory for creative tasks. This iPad is the best of all the time no lagging at all full of working.

When I picked it up one of the corners was smashed as if it was dropped. Worried about damages but opened it, looked fine but still worried about possible future troubles due to the condition I picked it up in.

i use this ipad religiously for design work and illustration work as well. it’s done the job for me for sure, but i have to upgrade now since 32gb has filled up pretty fast. it’s a good and affordable starter ipad if you’re looking for a tablet that can do the basics and want to explore the digital art world.

Too many problems since I bought it, the charging pin does not work and it took up to two days maybe three trying to charge it and when I manage to put it it is with great difficulty it is something stressful and I have not even 7 months to buy it

4 years later being owned by a 5 month old to newly 4 year old it took being stood on and held up. I did have glass screen protectors also it is the best investment ever without any fixing done to it just the usual home/volume button stick but it’s been 4 years so it’s still in good working condition

I had an iPad mini for 7 years. As my eyes have aged (I'm 50 now), I knew it was time to get the larger version. I love Apple -- from my phone, to the cloud and my MacBook Air -- they all work together seamlessly. The new IPAD is fast, clear and easy to use. I was able to trade in my old one and reload the new one by myself. Wahoo! I am not super tech savvy, but having an iPhone made the set up super easy. I was worried that the larger version would seem too heavy or clumsy, but it is easy to manage. It's great for reading, games or streaming.

This is my first ipad I have always used Android tablets and decided it was time to try something else. Some of the major selling points to me was the price and the size. It has a new processor and the performance is top notch and hasn't lagged yet. I use it for school mainly and a couple games. The battery is decent and lasts longer than any of the Android tablets I had had previously. I feel like I get more tablet for the price on this Apple.

I previously had the iPad 6th generation and upgraded to this one. Now to put it in brief, this one is the same in many ways but has some key updates. First off, the processor. It went from A10 to A12 between those models which suits me just fine to keep up with iPadOS updates that Apple may distribute over the coming years. That and it should be better for video and photo editing. Second, the connection pins. My previous iPad did not have those while the 7th generation did but it had the same processor so upgrading just for that was not worth it. With those, I can connect to the Smart Keyboard to avoid worrying over charging a bluetooth keyboard. Third, the charger. My previous iPad had a 12W charger so a complaint I had was recharging could take a while but Apple upgraded it with this model to a 20W charger in the box. Granted, this review is written from the perspective of someone who mainly uses it for notes, emails, video watching as opposed to heavy duty. But if you want a relatively cheap entry into Apple’s ecosystem with power to carry you into the future, this would be a way to go through maybe go with 128gb since 32 can fill up quickly. P.S. This is written as someone who appreciates the open flexibility of the Android OS but sort of Samsung the tablet market for Android is dead these days as far as quality goes, for the most part while Amazon’s lack that characteristic freedom or require out of the box methods to enable it.

I was a little worried reading about some of the specs, but am surprised at how well this iPad manages multitasking. The performance is great for any school-related tasks, and I've even done some vector drawing with no issues at all! Display is good, speakers are good, and battery life is amazing! This iPad covers all my needs so I didn't have any reason to spend an extra $400+ for the Pro version. My only issue is the 32GB base storage. Come on, Apple, what were you thinking?

The screen is perfect. The colors are amazing. Processing speed is fast. Easy to charge and use overall. Get it.
