In love!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVEEEE this iPad. First of all, the color choices were so good, I went with space gray and it’s the perfect gray, it literally goes with everything and it’s so metallic. I love that the iPad is more of a rectangle with round edges. They’ve really improved the iPads. I got so much gigabytes left over and I got this iPad about a year ago (and I have a lot of apps installed). This iPad is SOOO aesthetically pleasing and modern. The black border doesn’t take up space like my previous iPads did. The entire screen would just be the black border, but this one is just about 1cm! I’m so glad it brung a charger especially built for this iPad which is great because I don’t have to share my charger with my family to charge their iPhones! That’s probably one of my favorite parts to this iPad. Another one has to be that there’s no button. It’s just the like modern iPhones that are coming out that you have to slide the bottom of the screen up to close your app. It has a lot of speakers so I never have problems hearing what’s coming out of the iPad. Also, since there’s no button you might be wondering how you do Touch ID. We’ll Touch ID is built into the power button, you just have to set it up in setting like every other iPhone. You just easily rest your finger on the cute little power button on the side of the iPad and you’re automatically in. If you like the old fashioned way, you can always just put your password in atomically. There’s much more that is great about this iPad that I can’t think of, but just know it’s worth it and just get it!

Nice starting tablet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very powerful and productive tablet to start with. It has an upgraded processor that is very responsive and had hardly any lag or stutter. The screen is beautiful and the operating system is just as elegant. The applications although many are of high quality with very little bugs or none at all. The greatest downside is that at 32GB, this tablet already eats at least 30% of your drive space from the OS and system files and preinstalled applications right out of the box. By the time you finish installing your own applications you'll be down to less than 60% space left before you even begin doing anything. If you're going to use it for school it will work great, but get the 128GB version as the 32GB will not be sufficient. If you're only going to be watching streaming movies, internet, or music with very little productivity, this tablet is functional. If you're thinking of doing more, applications will reach a point were you will no longer be able to use them and constantly offload data to an external or cloud storage will not save you in the event you have a last minute paper, project, report, drawing, imagery, video or whatever due. You will be stuck losing valuable time trying to free space up as you watch your grade expectations go with it.

Gift for Wife
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased just for my wonderful wife at Christmas time. Worked out Great, would buy another if needed. Compact size, less the regular mess with a tower, love the size. Fits her needs and more. Just got lucky when looking for a new Computor. Everyone hates to spend the money, but this one is well worth it. Thank You Best Buy!. Great Purchase.

iPad 8th Gen
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had it for about 3 years now and I’ve had zero problems with it. It’s a perfect tablet for school and art. It’s a perfect budget tablet. I still use it to this day mostly for art if I ever upgrade it would only be because I want a bigger one but I like the size I have now.

Succeeded my expectations
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to replace my old iPad with this version, and wow, what an amazing upgrade. Lightweight, easy to use, great camera, very powerful, and rather affordable considering what you are getting. Only thing is that I wish Apple would come out with more color choices for their iPads.

Great for price BUT memory sucks.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like an iPhone with a big screen. Great for viewing videos and using as a playlist for a Bluetooth speaker and looking at photos shot with iPhone (iPad camera not so good and front facing even worse) Minus 1 star for 32 GB of space. Way too small. It should have been 64 GB. Feel like they made the 32GB as a way to separate the ones like my grandparents who won’t use memory and don’t know anything about it the other folks who know they need at least 64GB but that’s not the option so your faced with an extra $100 for the 128GB. But I didn’t budge. You have to have a plan of deleting apps and files to keep space. If you’re only using to consume media and browse the internet then it’s perfect and priced well. And another poor quality are the cameras. Not very good like mentioned above. FaceTime not so good, but the screen is beautiful. But that’s why this one is the cheapest iPad in 2020. I got it for $311 total ($279.99 + California sales tax and recycle fee). And then you throw $22 for a case your up to $334. But it COMES WITH A CHARGER! (I can’t believe I have to get excited about that) All that it’s still great. 4 stars.

Couldn’t live without my Ipad
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This iPad has been the best iPad I have owned so far. It’s battery life can compete with my gaming time, colors are wonderful, thin design makes it easily portable and the size is just the right size for viewing purposes.

Absolutely Worth It
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my iPad. This is the second one I've had, the first being an iPad mini about 7 years ago. This one is amazing despite it being one of the lower end models (I think). In other words, I just don't think it has all the bells and whistles you can get if you pay a bit more. but this is perfect for my needs; internet browsing, streaming tv/movies, games, social media, note taking, drawing, and I even got an Apple Pencil that makes some of those things much easier. My girlfriend appreciated this since she likes to sleep with the tv off and I don't, so I just popped in my headphones and put something on and she wasn't disturbed. both of us were happy. I forgot to mention reading - I love reading books and the kindle/books apps make tablet reading actually enjoyable, and I can even look up words that I don't understand just by tapping on it. It's so convenient. Love this iPad!

Pleasantly surprised
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for work to mimic what the client has. I have a 2021 12.9 iPad Pro (for work) and new iPad mini 6 for personal use so I have experience with iPads overall. I will say I was quite surprised by this iPad and its quality. I have used older versions of the iPad since it has been created but it has been many years since using this older style so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall use. The chip is not bad, 32GB for this version is bad! Definitely get the 9th version of this with 64 minimum. The non laminated screen isn't as noticeable as I thought it would be. I am screen snob, admittedly, and the non-lamination I thought would drive me nuts (that is where there is a bit of a gap between the glass and screen, but it isn't terribly noticeable on this tablet as the colors are bright and vivid so the other characteristics make up for it. If you want a reasonably priced iPad and don't prefer the size of the mini, this is a great buy. It is quite capable, the screen is nice and the price is good. The bezels and button are older design wise, but honestly if you prefer a tablet for more moderate use cases this shouldn't be a deal breaker. I recommend.

Best Tablet for everyday users!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How can you go wrong with an iPad!?! My 2 grandsons have had 3-4 "Fire Pads in the last couple of years, they all seem to die for whatever reason and it's not abuse because they are all well protected. We decided to splurge this Christmas and get them iPads. They work great and will help them with their schoolwork and last a long time. My Daughter's is now 10+ years old and still going strong!! This is even a better iPad than my 3 year old iPad Air1 Faster, better screen/picture, and a iPen will even work with it!! No regrets and would do it all over again--absolutely fantastic product!

Affordable and easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I totally love my new Apple - 10.2-inch iPad. I was able to get mine in gold, which looks very classy. It’s pretty light weight and easy to use. The pictures I take are crisp clear. I feel that my iPad is a good quality for the money I paid. When I charge my iPad, it last quite a while. That is awesome for me so I can stay focus at the task on hand. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who’s looking for an easy iPad to navigate.

A great IPad for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Value for money this iPad is the business. For everyday use this Ioad is hard to beat. It has a good processor, good battery life and an excellent screen. For surfing on the internet, playing the odd game this is a good tablet. Just be aware of its storage limitations as with 32 GB you can run out of space with apps quickly.

great little iPad

Happy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love the ipad for work and school. Its like having an assistant by your side. Its convenient to carry around and can do just about anything. I use it for content editing, watching movies and sports, games and note taking. I had the Ipad mini4 and i thought that was great. I am genuinely happy with this purchase. No need to get too fancy with it either. 32gig was way too small and I don’t think it would allow you to optimize the use of the ipad in the long term. Go with the 128gig and you will thank yourself in 6 months.

Good gear
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the third iPad I have purchased and they continue to be solid performing products. I feel that innovation has been blunted by wokeness and conformity at Apple and a lot of other big tech enterprises so we don't see eye-popping new features, but there are incremental advances and the underlying tech is what we have come to rely on. The first device I bought was added to my phone service and had the convenience of free-standing access to the internet when my wife and I traveled, but that feature is really passé to me since we have reliable phones that act as hotspots. We are not affluent and so saving a few bucks and spending our money on high-speed wi-fi access at home so the iPad can perform well there makes more sense. The device itself is marginally thinner and lighter than the previous iteration and has good color and contrast and has given no issues to deal with since it was purchased. Solid performance, reliable and capable as a device at this price point had better be.
