    Good deal, bought for my 82 years old mom, she loves the home button (old style easier for her). And Best Buy has a good deal, easy with curb side pick up.

    Purchased for my parents (theyre 80) it was at my house the next day, as was the apple watch. Everything i have gotten from best buy has been an extraordinary experience. Refrigerator, TV, and now the ipad/apple watch.

    The base iPad handles typical browsing, streaming, and music tasks fine. Also just fine for creating small docs with Apples Pages and Numbers apps. Handles lightweight photo editing just fine, including raw processing and layers using Affinity Photo app. Slower than iPad Pro models in this respect but fine for handling single image files. Slow for batch processing. 9th gen iPad still has the older reflective screen which can be annoying in some lighting conditions. For Most tablet users this will do fine.
