Great IPad for the price. Has a good amount of storage. Perfect size to carry around and not too heavy. Fits in all backpacks and even some purses. Truly the perfect screen size. Great gift!

Honestly, this iPad has replaced my laptop for almost everything. Netflix? Crystal clear. Zoom calls? Flawless. Scribbling random doodles at 2 AM? Apple Pencil + iPad = chef’s kiss. The battery lasts forever, it’s crazy fast, and it just feels premium. Only downside? I now carry it everywhere like a proud parent.

I’ve been really enjoying my iPad—it’s an incredibly versatile device that does everything my iPhone can do, but with a larger screen that makes it even better for things like browsing, watching videos, and productivity tasks. Whether I’m using apps, browsing the web, or streaming, everything runs smoothly. The battery life is reliable, and the display is bright and clear, making it a pleasure to use for hours on end. If you’re looking for a device that combines the functionality of a smartphone with the power of a tablet, the iPad is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Can’t get better than the original. Plenty of storage for lots of apps pictures and all the things. Easy fingerprint sign in. Good screen size and light, too. Good family controls. Screen has plenty of pixels for high definition video and graphics work.

I absolutely love my iPad—it’s become an essential part of my daily life. From its sleek design to its powerful performance, it’s perfect for everything I do. Whether I’m streaming my favorite shows, jotting down ideas with the Apple Pencil, or staying productive on the go, the iPad never misses a beat. The screen is stunning, making everything look vibrant and sharp, and it’s surprisingly easy to use for both work and relaxation. It’s like having a laptop, sketchpad, and entertainment system all in one, and I can’t imagine not having it by my side.

I have an iPad sixth generation I use an iPad the way most people use their phone and computer, all the time. I wanted to keep the headphone jack as long as possible. This is the last iPad with headphone jack. I looked at the iPad 9 with 64 GB. 64 is not very much if you’re using heavy apps or to store a lot of movies. at about $200 it’s easily the best iPad for the money you could get on sale. my iPad six is excellent and still works great so I’m not sure if I’ll keep this one however the iPad six is from 2018 the iPad nine from 2021. The iPad nine chip is the A13 versus the A10 of the iPad six. The iPad nine is slightly bigger and supposedly a better front camera. Other than that they are almost identical but the new chip I am hoping will keep the iPad running smoothly for several years. I’m not sure but the iPad 6 may be a little sluggish as I have used it a lot for 5-6 years. For me as a musician I love having the headphone jack. if you never had an iPad and you can get the 9 on sale It’s a great iPad and will probably run smoothly for another 5 to 6 years. Neither of these iPads will die after 5 to 6 years, they just might lag a bit. so I bought the iPad 9 to somewhat Future-proof for the iPad 6. I went for a monthly AppleCare, but If you’re paying for AppleCare and a deductible for an incident, it may not be worth it. It does have the chip that allows me to run logic pro on the iPad. That’s pretty cool, but due to the 64 gig I can’t download a lot of plugins and I never liked recording on iPads. But logic works on this iPad and I will use it. So, if you want to prolong having a headphone jack and have a good all-around iPad for 3 to 4 years to come, This is a great iPad, if you can afford the 256 GB go for it. If you never owned an iPad and this is on sale for 64 GB it’s a great iPad and not just a starter. The resolution is great. The screen is slightly bigger than a standard iPad. The speakers are not much different than the iPad six but fairly loud and usable. I do a lot of shopping, communicating, research, watching (streaming, YT) and create and edit video and documents. You can always off load videos to a PC or USB. If you want to upgrade your iPad and you don’t care about the headphone jack, then you might want to look at the most recent iPads, but they are significantly more expensive. This is a brand new iPad so the battery and chip are new, which makes a difference to longevity. I’ve never seen an iPad go for $200 new so if you see it around this price it’s a great iPad.

Only had this unit just over a week but impressed with faster speed and quality of the display. New unit replaces my Air 2, 32GB. Glad to see Apple made capacity at 64 GB the entry level. Previous unit was about to run out of storage. The larger screen is noticeable to the eye.

The iPad 10.9‑inch (10th gen) is a stylish, competent everyday tablet—especially appealing when on sale. It offers crisp visuals, modern ports, and reliable battery life. Great for casual use or students, but if you’re after power, pro tools, or future readiness, stepping up to the iPad Air (M2) or waiting for the 11th gen is smarter.

Bought this for my mom to replace her ipad mini. It was on its last leg and running slow. She loves the 9th gen. The 10.2 in screen is much bigger and crystal clear, loads fast and takes care of all her browsing needs. Battery life is good, lasts most of the day on one charge. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this Ipad. Bought it on sale for my 6 year old granddaughter for her school educational apps. She uses it every day. She can navigate it easily. It's a great first ipad for kids on a budget. Email and surfing doesn't get used, but she'll grow into it. I've tried it out and it's a great entry tablet. It's in a good enclosed case and gets dropped on the floor frequently and survives.

This IPad is fast even running on my home 5G network or on the 2.4 ghz side. (Dual band for security equipment). The price was too good to resist! My previous I pad was a “renewed” unit and the battery died about a year after I bought it. I suggest you buy one of these new & avoid refreshed, refurbished, renewed products that are old &still have the original battery. They do not automatically install a new battery in those old units. You usually get a tired weak battery. It might be working at 80% now, but remember it has likely been in there for as many as 10 years. Suggest you start off right with brand new IPad that has a new battery. The cost to replace the battery in my 4th generation unit was over $150! So if it lasts 90 days or even a year are you really saving much money buying renewed products? This 9th generation I pad is as good as the 10th unit. I prefer having the home button. I am tossing out the cheap Android tablets too. My Lenovo ( purchased new) is a slug compared to this IPad! They doubled the min storage on this generation compared to generation prior, so 64GB is enough for me. If you start with a brand new unit it easily last until it becomes obsolete. I have no idea what one does with an original IPad? I had a spotless new original generation looking unit I discarded because it couldn’t even handle web browsing on today’s feature filled top pages. Just no resources. I recommend not buying any older generations than this 9th if you can avoid it or at least no older than generation 7 or 8 if you have to. Go for brand new! Display on this unit is better. Cameras are higher megapixels. Just all around better & very close to a 10th gen unit at the top of the heap. Saving $ on a 9th gen over a 10 makes some sense but the older generations do not in most cases.

The iPad 10.9 sports a modern look with a stunning edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display. At 10.9 inches, the screen offers vibrant colors and sharp details, making it ideal for streaming content, browsing the web, or working on creative projects. It’s lightweight and comfortable to hold, which makes it a great companion for both productivity and leisure. The available color options add a touch of personalization, appealing to a broad audience.

    Apple iPad 9th Generation - a winner!

I have had iPads in the past, 1st and 5th generations, and then I went to the Samsung Galaxy A7 lite tablet. As much as I like Samsung products, all I did with the tablet was watch TV and movies. The iPad had much more content that I use, shopping apps, productivity apps like Microsoft 365 suite, creativity and music apps etc. I can use it for personal or business reasons, and I am now taking it to work whereas I never took the Samsung tablet to work. This 9th generation iteration was selling for $269 on Black Friday, and has 64GB memory, 10.2 inch screen, and it is thin and relatively lightweight. The touch pad is sensitive, and I also purchased a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard case for it. The 10th generation iPad is out now but I always like to buy the previous version because it is tried and true and is usually less expensive. So far I have not been disappointed.
