After seeing all the negative reviews I still put hope in it and bought 2 not open boxed 9th generation iPads and I don’t regret it. They work perfectly and I am giving them to my children for Christmas this year. I have opened both iPads checked everything to make sure they both work (keeping the negative reviews in mind). They did come with writing on the plastic, but easily can be wiped away with no much work. If you do plan on buying one please please for the love of peace just read the description and make sure you are getting new instead of open boxed to make it easier for you.

Works great and is fast to use. Handy size for our needs

Bought this for for my 35 year old mentally and physically challenged son. This is the second one he has had and he loves it. It only gets set down to charge and at bedtime. He listens to apple music and plays games and shops with ease. He wouldnt accept any other tablet. His nephew stepped on his last tablet otherwise it would still be working as always. I had to go the next day to get a new one. He doesn't like being without his Ipad. Its a great product and I got it for a great price, Thank you Best Buy for making it affordable enough to replace quickly.

This product is juar what i needed, its very useful. I use it daily from watching Netflix to catching up on Emails. Its very durable and convenient to have.

So far so good. She only opened on Christmas, so we shall see. It was an awesome price.

I had a few different iPads over the years and this has been the absolute best bang for the buck that you can get. High quality screen and 10.2” of viewing is perfect. The sound quality and speed are much improved. Can’t beat the price point.

At $269, this is the absolute best value tracker out there. 64Gb is just enough to have this be a solid device for a casual browser or a young kid that plays some basic games and watches shows/movies. Significantly better than a fire and not too much more. This one is hard to beat at the sale price.

I feel like I got a great deal on this iPad. It was on sale for a considerably reduced price because there's a new model. I paid the same price I'd paid for my last one 4 years ago, and this one has a larger screen and twice the storage as the old one.

Still using it after 3 years. Battery keeps holding, software still fast. I use for school work and it keeps working fine.

Awesome iPad. I bought this while it was on sale and it’s a great iPad for the price range. The 64gb is a bit small but it will work if you don’t install a lot of apps you don’t really need. The battery life is excellent even when using a Bluetooth keyboard and other things that strain a battery. I’m happy with this product but keep reading as I’ll share my story about purchasing this as an “open box” instead of new. I initially bought this online because I live 60 miles from a Best Buy. They had “open box - excellent” listed for about $10 less. I expected this to be basically a new unit with the seal broken on the box or something. I received a used iPad in a plain cardboard box with some nicks/marks on it, along with an Insignia branded generic charger. It looked like I was sent a used return or a demo/floor model. I felt like this was deceiving since I had basically just paid full retail price for a used unit with who knows how many hours on the battery and screen. I returned to the unit to my closest store 60 miles away and got a brand new unit. My advice is never buy an “open box” or probably even an advertised “refurbished” unit from Best Buy. It’s probably quite a gamble with whatever product it is.

I putchased this ipad to replaced my 6th generation ipad, whicg the battery was slowly losing its charge and it was slowing down. There was a night and day difference between the two devices. The 9th generation has 1 more GB of Ram and it starts off at 64gb of memory. I wish Apple would have started it off with 128gb but it is what it is. This ipad has a 10.2 inch screen is is very nice for playing games and watching videos. The speakers on the device are fine. They won't blow you away, but they are good considering this is a budget ipad. The usb c to lightning cable is a little bit of a bummer. I wish they would have adopted USB-C to USB-C but its fine. By the way, it will charge with a regular lightning cable with no problems. I havent tried video editing nor have i tried photo editing, but i do believe this is a capable device. Overall, if you need to replace a device or you need a secondary ipad, this is the one to get.

It is everything expected and more. Works great has good battery life and overall can download quite a few games and have good streaming

This item was purchased as a gift for my four year old grandson’s birthday. It is a perfect size for him and it is easy to use. He absolutely loves it. I could not have made a better choice in choosing this for him. Also, the price was reasonable. The salesperson was also very helpful and patient.

I haven't had a new iPad in years, and my old one had died a while back. I missed reading on the kindle app and also having a tablet instead of my phone or laptop. I saw the price on this model was very reasonable, so I decided it was time to get a new one. I am very pleased with it, and since I am an apple user all my data transferred seamlessly and quickly. I did also get a keyboard attachment for it, but I really don't use it often; I like the touchscreen keypad and it works just as well or better. If you don't need or want the newest model of the iPad this one is a great buy!

We got a great price on a new iPad. It is fast, has a great screen and in compatible with the Apple pen 1st gen. I wish it had more storage.

This IPAD is the perfect size for me being a very room screen and lightweight making it easy to take outside of home and use in other places. Bought at a very bargain price.

I recently picked up the Apple 10.2-inch iPad (9th Generation) in Space Gray, and I've got to say, it's been pretty good for my everyday needs. The screen is awesome - watching movies and scrolling through photos is a treat. It's pretty speedy, too; I can switch between apps with no lag, and it even handles my favorite games without a hitch. The design is more of the same, but it still looks sleek, and it's a bummer that it still uses the old Lightning port instead of USB-C. With 64GB of storage, it's enough for me, but I could see how some folks might run out of space quickly. Overall, it's been a solid buy for the price.
