I have sold the old ipads and they keep their value. I have bought my wife two of these over the years. Good option if you don’t want to pay the extra for the 10, with mostly no performance change worth noting.

The up grade has made tasks simpler and faster. Would recommend the upgrade to anyone, especially if you have a 8th generation to trade in. Double your amount of memory from 32GB to 64GB,

Even though she listens to Audible she still loves to read quietly. The larger format has opened a door to continue reading. Life is rough when you lose something so basic.

Everywhere this device will be used has reliable Wifi so I didn't need to pay for another line. I've purchased two gen 8s and now a 9. We use them around the office for a ton of things.
