Catching Up With Today's World

My first, a present from many years ago, was a First Generation model. So you can imagine my delights and challenges. There's too much "stuff" on the home page but the apps I use work so smoothly. I'm back in the 21st Century. The 4 stars is just because I do consider the home screen much too busy and distracting. The battery life is not as good as I'd like. I have the iPad on for long stretches because I use it to follow tutorials on FB & YouTube. It will not take me through the day without a charge.

Good cheapskate ipad

The only reason this is not 5 stars is because of the mondo glare on the screen outdoors. Also, when watching YouTube TV or on various other streaming apps, the screen used for the video only takes up about 3/4 of the screen. Why have a 10.2” screen and only watch on a 7” portion of it?
