Now happy, but upgrading was painful!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had some issues upgrading from our previous IPad; Apple's theft-deterrent stuff was a real pain in the butt, and even our friendly BestBuy tech person could not help us. Very frustrating and aggravating to have the new device and not be able to use it! But after a couple weeks Apple finally sent us the link necessary to verify us as owners, and from that point forward everything has been great. Very fast, great graphics. Now I'm very happy with the purchase, but I sure was not for the first couple of weeks!

Most of my grocery shopping is done online. Most of my any kind of shopping is online. I rarely need to visit a store. I stay in touch with my sister and my cousin in other states. I can play solitaire or sudoku by the hour sometimes and I have never run out of battery power. I have a computer but I rarely need it. Yes I do love my IPad.

Awesome tablet, made better with iPad OS

For that amount you are getting A LOT OF performance. I was very impressed with well it ran everything, and even though I have the M1 iPad Pro, I can see how the iPad 9th Gen is suitable for most people's needs. My nephew mainly uses it to play games, YouTube, drawing, and learning. He loves it, and if you have a child that wants an iPad I'm sure they will love it too.
