This release increase the base storage to 64 gb and now comes with an upgraded chip for the same price as the last generation. Would recommend to college students on a budget.

Never Disappointed!

There is a noticeable difference in resolution as this newer model is clearer and faster. No regrets pruchasing this from Bestbuy especially when it's on sale, sure beats the Apple store.

Still the best value tablet around

Even though its design is outdated compared to more expensive iPads, it's still so much better than any Android or Amazon tablet out there. And the quality of apps available is head and shoulders better than Android and Amazon. I also own the latest 10" Amazon Fire, which is fine for the price and what it does. But it's not nearly as nice as even the cheapest iPad. If you can afford it, the iPad is worth the price difference.
