    I bought this 9th generation iPad to replace an 8th generation iPad with a dying battery. I traded in the 8th generation iPad making the new one quite reasonable in price. It also worked with my existing case. That's the good. The bad is this new iPad was already one generation old, and soon to be two generations old. It meets my needs.
