He uses it for communication with the family, entertainment, paying bills, etc. He no longer needs to use a separate computer. He (and we) are very happy with this purchase.

I got this for Black Friday which was yesterday and it’s working well. I enjoy using an iPad and plan to keep it for a very long time. I owned two iPOD Touches and they are no longer manufactured. I probably bought one of the last ones sold when my first one died a few years ago! It has annoyed my family for years, so I was gifted an iPad! No complaints! Absolutely love it and it is so much easier on my eyes. However, I still use my Touch in my car and running errands! Old habits…!
