Mostly good - not quite perfect

The 10.2 has a sharper screen, runs faster, and is lighter. Easy to setup and transfer files. Only wish they had kept the same usb port for charging.

First IPAD ever

I don't have any previous versions to compare it to but I will say that this thing does everything she could want. She downloaded art apps and school apps and is able to use it as a creative outlet as well as a tool to get her online homework done. I am VERY happy with this purchase and feel it's not too pricey for the value. I also got her the Apple Pen V1 to go with it and she uses this every day.

Good product, just an issue once

She's been using it for more than one year without any problem. Just once the tablet kept pkaying a video and it was impossible to stop it or turn it off. We had to wait for the battery to discharge completely to solve the issue. I still don't know if my daughter caused the problem or the tablet is defective. It hasn't happened again since then.
