This year’s model, the 10.2-inch “9th generation” iPad, has barely been upgraded from last year’s model, which was barely upgraded from the previous year’s model.

Update of the old iPad

It is definitely much faster and it takes just a few swipes to forget about the old home button. Overall, I was pleased with my purchase and great price during the Black Friday sale.

We like to stick to Apple products because they are familiar and so easy to navigate. The durability is great, but it is definitely no match for a toddler (we learned our lesson and purchased Apple care this time around), but that is to be expected.

Worth every penny

Obviously 64GB is too low, but it’s great for watching movies and surfing the web. For an entry level iPad you can still use the Apple Pencil, plus the A13 Bionic chip is plenty quick for everyday tasks.
