I had been using a 9th generation ipad but my kids kept stealing it. I decided that the regular ipad was enough for me and purchased this second one on the Black Friday deal. I already had the pencil to keep drawing in Procreate. Even though the pro was awesome….it was too much cost for still experimenting with digital drawing. This one should last five years or so before needing an upgrade. And the cost of the 10th generation was not worth it to me….why the price increase and not able to use 2nd generation pencil? Come on apple!

I'm so glad I decided to switch--it's easy to use and the size makes it more comfortable to read. Best Buy is a great store.

Apple Delivers yet again...

It’s fast enough for everyday stuff like browsing, streaming, and schoolwork, and the screen looks sharp with True Tone. The front camera with Center Stage is awesome for video calls. The design is a little dated (big bezels, Lightning port) and it only works with the first-gen Apple Pencil, but for the price it’s hard to beat.

The perfect tablet for my mother!

It's a little larger than her previous iPad and a much better replacement in terms of screen resolution, processor, memory and storage space. BestBuy helped her move her files and settings from her old one to the new, which I really appreciate!

Good Value at the Reduced Price

Normally I would say overpriced, but the sale going on around black Friday and Cyber Monday made this a reasonable value. I'm still running an iPad mini I bought more than eight years ago, if this one holds up as well as that one, then I'll be pretty happy with this purchase. If you need the latest and greatest, and buy a new BMW every three years ago to impress your friends, then this probably isn't for you.

After a week of purchase, it has been my go to device for mobile gaming. Clear big screen does help a lot
