I've been using an iPad Air 2 for the past few years and I've have only good things to say about it. When the iPad Pro models came out, I really liked the idea of the Apple Pencil but it was hard to justify the extra cost. Now that Apple has made a regular model with the power of the Pro and the ability to use the Pencil, I had to have it. I'm glad I did!

Very good compromise

It meets all my normal needs and I like that the screen is a little larger than the 9.7. Do I wish that it had face id, yes and some of the other pro features, certainly. However, given that I am an average user it feels like it more than meets all my needs. I also like that the screen is easier to use the pen with than the 9.7 model.

We recently purchased the 9.7” version then saw a deal on this guy. Traded up for this 10.5” air and there really is a noticeable difference in screen size. I have owned an Air 2 for a few years and loved it so using these side by side feels like a big step up. Pencil support is obviously appreciated. My wife loves this for a note taking and drawing on top of the usual stream/internet stuff.
