I benchmarked it with Octane2 and it is actually faster than my i7 notebook for JavaScript. Coupled with the Apple Pencil and Keyboard it easily replaces a laptop for many tasks

I had an iPad Air prior to this and enjoy the use of the many new features including the keyboard and pencil.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you've had an iPad before, this one will be familiar, but snappier and the extra inch or so of space makes a big difference in readability and the iPads version of multi-tasting. This bigger screen will be more useful when the new iOS comes out in the fall, but it also is more vibrant. Speakers are nice and loud and clear. Love taking notes on it with the pencil. Only real downside is the price... all else is truly great. Didn't think I'd buy the expensive keyboard cover from apple, but did do it and love it. Still think its way overpriced, but works amazing and no batteries to change or charge.

The extra screen size without a much larger footprint is great and it is very fast and responsive. The iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil has made work much less mundane.
