My previous iPad dates to 2013. Apple no longer supplies software updates for it. But, that's OK since my new iPad Pro does so much more with the current software as well as all the other new stuff Apple now offers.

I had the 9 inch iPad Pro and it was just a little small for my use. I bought the ten inch and could not be happier. The sound is impeccable and the video is outstanding. Definitely better than a standard iPad.

My daughter loved it! We still own an original Apple Mini and it works, just very slow so we decided to buy her the new iPadPro for school work. After much research, it is a good alternative for a high school student and much cheaper than a laptop. Just buy a keyboard and presto! This is remarkabley fast and a great size. The size makes it easy to carry around. The display is beautiful.

The camera takes great photos and the videos are also great microphone for audio. Wi-Fi setup is easy and it is a great size for carrying around to stay in touch with e-mail, social media and a very large screen. Since it is new I have not determine the durability.
