    Unfortunately I ended up returning this item. I was unsure between the new iPad and the Mac book pro. The Mac book pro was a better fit t for my wife.

    This ipad is extremely fast and beautiful. I previously purchased the 12" one and I found it too big however, downgraded to the 8" and it's perfect!

    I've always experienced crashes on previous iPads because of the video apps I use. I've been using this one for a month now and haven't experienced one.

    I tried use surface for couple of days and gave up. iPad is more convenient. I like the iCloud file folder which sync with OS X computers.
