    This iPad has all the features we were looking for when looking for a tablet for our 3-year-old to use once in a awhile. The apps that Apple offers for educational purposes have been engaging and helpful for our son!

    I bought this iPad for my freshman. She upgraded her old one before she started college. I have compared the prices and Best Buy was the best option even with the Apple student discount. My daughter is a sophomore now, uses her iPad all the time and loves it.

    Overall pleased with this purchase, but a handful of disappointments: Apparently WhatsApp is not compatible with this model, which is just stupid, considering most other video chat/communication apps (including iMessage) work perfectly fine. Also, there is no vertical top self-facing camera, only horizontal, so it's not ideal if you plan to casually video chat with others in that way. This definitely won't be replacing either my MacBook or iPhone anytime soon.
