I am a tech user who only uses windows and android os. I used to have an iphone, but when I switched to Samsung it was way better and I never went back. I am saying this because the one thing I like about apple is their tablets. I never liked android based tablets because I feel that apps are usually not optimized well with them and even android os feels werid on their tablets as well. As for the device itself, it is a budget ipad that will get 90% of what people look for in tablets done. It has a low refresh rate compared to other models, as well as a lower quality screen but not bad enough to complain about. If you surf the web, use it for Netflix, and basic tablet functions it will be the best option for you. While the more expensive ipads are better in every way, they are for a very small percentage of people who expect high performance from a tablet. Apple still sells the 9th generation ipad, but I chose the 10th because of the bigger screen, smaller bezels, more speakers, and most importantly usb-c. I am not sure why Apple as a company has used lightning chargers for over 10 years now when better technology exists, but being 10 years late to the party is better than nothing I guess.... Lastly the pricing of ipads are very steep. If you are looking to get any ipad make sure to find them on sale or wait until a new version comes out to get the old one. Apple is known for this unfortunately.

So far I’m finding this tablet to be a good buy. I haven’t finished setting up all the apps I would use with it, but performance and battery life are favorable. Very good audio out put with excellent screen play with movies from the streaming services I have. Handling is good and responsive, and there appears to be no lagging or buffering issues.

Have owned Apple IPads for years, have had many. Purchased this one for my teenage Granddaughter, works flawlessly. She is very happy with it.

Excellent upgrade. Meets all my needs for reading, etc. Perfect size, performance and responsiveness.

It’s great to do school work or shopping or just for a teenager but i loved it for reading

I love this iPad because it’s a great travel companion. I use it to watch movies and to review my emails. My iPad is extremely light weight and easy to operate.

i am trying to get used to the changes that are on this iPad. one thing i didn't really think about was that some of my apps will not transfer. i do like this better than my old iPad pro. i think it's easier to use, and it's faster.

Bought new iPad because my old one died…latest iOS update automatically happened and few days later…poof! I was checking email and screen went black then apple symbol occurred and I thought just a blip and expected it to restart…did NOT! Has not yet… Anyhow, I googled it on my phone and several folks said happened after last update? Dead battery? IDK I bought newest instead of trying to fix old and this one’s good…just got to get used to no home button!! Works great!

No issue since purchasing this product it has not had a single glitch or even hiccup. Amazing product and works very well with Apple Pencil.

The IPad is as a gift to my granddaughter. She loves it and it is extremely useful for school and pleasure. I would buy it again!

So far so good. I’ve just upgraded from an old 6 generation iPad and have so much to learn about its capabilities and where a lot of the old stuff has been moved to. The screen size fits my needs just right. Speed is much faster and excellent picture quality.

Got this as a Xmas gift for my wife, it's used daily and the battery life is still around 90% good from 2 years ago.
