She upgraded her old one before she started college. I have compared the prices and Best Buy was the best option even with the Apple student discount. My daughter is a sophomore now, uses her iPad all the time and loves it.

Also paying bills on line and shopping. Good for gaming too. No need to spend all that additional money for a computer unless your running graphic heavy applications or film editing.

Just what I needed

My last I pad was not that old but it only had 32GB. Not enough space at all. I couldn't even get an apple update without it telling me I needed more space. This one has plenty of space for everything I want to do.
