I've owned two earlier iPad versions and the newest of those has served me well for about ten years. This 10th generation, new 10.9 is just fantastic: larger screen, sharper images and text, many, many more features, and, of course, I'm a huge fan of how Apple makes their products so easy to set up and interface with each other.

I bought this for my wife to replace her 7th generation iPad. Needless to say, the improvement in performance was immediately obvious. Opening apps was faster, switching between apps is immediate, and she can have multiple apps open simultaneously without any noticeable drop in performance. The only trade offs between this and an Air or Pro model are mostly cosmetic, or would go unnoticed by 90% of the population. For everyday tasks and general purpose use, it’s hard to beat.

Runs nicely, and good for if you want a reliability

The best iPad for simple daily use for watching movies, playing games, or using good notes and reading!! The best investment and one of the cheapest models all in such pretty colors too! I love the pink!!

Went to have my 12 year old iMac to get fixed it bought an open box blue iMac and Best Buy also had an open box blue iPad. Had to be for me right? I just wanted an iPad so I could pay bills instead of going into my basement to use iMac. I paired it up with a Logitech keypad fold case and not it’s my laptop! Kind of! I don’t use it much but to do some banking! Couldn’t see myself spending the money on a pro or air. This does me good! Open box for $300 in excellent condition was a good deal since this was $449 new but now they are $349. Go figure. Either way I’d recommend

As a replacement for our 7th gen iPad, the current 10th gen iPad is much faster, better wifi reception, brighter, larger screen. We are happy with its performance

I got this iPad on cyber Monday, it has been a couple of months now and I have not ran into any problems at all with it. I love it! I use it for creating logos, business cards, cake cake toppers, way better than using your phone.
