    I thought that I purchased the perfect gift for my husband for Christmas! Right out of the box on Christmas morning it wouldn't start up. We got online and tried all the troubleshooting suggestions (uploading new software and firmware) froze in the first 25% of the process each time. End the end, after spending 45 minutes on Apple Chat, we had to make an appointment to take it back to Best Buy to have them try to get it to start. I didn't realize that the iPad, newest and greatest is technology from 2022! My husband was very let down, he was so anxious to upload all of his music onto it. Just get the black screen of death with the Apple icon in the middle.
