We bought total of 5 for our family but found that we needed to upgrade the ones for the parents. The 64GB iPad works great for our children and the Apple ID and family system is what we wanted for our family vs getting our children phone numbers to message them. We may have to get them with more space for their photos and videos but they have been great for now. We got cases for them from Amazon.

It is so responsive and very fast to go to web pages with efficency and ease! It's respnd time is amazing as fast as any laptop out there and any tablet! I wish Apple wasn't stingy with memory (64 GB much less expensive than 256 GB, no other choices), but overall a great iPad. I don't use it as a work device so didn't need the iPad Air or iPad Pro.
