    Give it a try . We bought this to replace an small laptop. It is an smooth experience and for school assignments. Battery last long enough for a weekly charge.We just felt not expending on the Apple cover and pen, the substitute does just as required.

    Great size, the clarity is awesome, I got this as a gift for my Aunt as an upgrade to a kindle fire that she had previously. She loves it and has gone through several books with it already. She also loves the other apple features like FaceTime she can use while on wifi to communicate with the grand kids.

    I’m more familiar with android systems but when I changed jobs I joined my wife’s plan and went with the iPhone. My new job required a tablet. The salesperson at the apple area was very helpful as long as it was Apple products. I asked where android tablets would be any directed me to the area, but explained that he was strictly Apple product. We came back following day and purchased an iPad so far very impressed.
