Got it as a gift because they are recently retired and enjoying vacationing in the camper. I got it with cellular data so it can be used for watching movies, Google searches, and a larger GPS for travel. Great gift purchase.

Exc iPad if u don't need the 11thGen upgrades

I also bought it because the battery on my 6thGen iPad seem to need recharging more and more rapidly. In fact the reason that I'm giving this 4stars instead of 5 is because the battery does not seem to be doing a better job for me. I'm very aware of tech and I keep only two apps open at all times. Very careful to close down all others as soon as I've finished them. Overall very satisfied as I have been since the day the first iPad came out.

I was able to copy my existing iPad over to this model and not loose a step!

More affordable and still gets the job done

I’m excited to use it for playing games, watching movies, and it’s also awesome for video calls because of its landscape centered camera meaning when laying horizontally the camera is centered instead of off to the side like other iPhones or IPads.
