I will probably be returning this unit. This is based on owning every iPad since 1st gen. Never has a battery discharged this quickly.

However you must buy the pencil. For anyone else it would be just an extremely over priced tablet as the air pad cannot replace your laptop or computer, For those buying an apple product for the first time, BEWARE! Transfering files between the air pad and a PC is a pain that often involves converting your files to other formats. Also you have to buy extra accessories to plug a USB; very inconvenient! It would not be that bad but for the price one would expect at least file transfer to be ready to go on first use. For all those artists out there, you should know that the airpad does not come with drawing or painting software.

I guess I would need classes or one of those how to books to get the most from this product. Too bad Apple doesn’t have a project or how to book shipped with their products.

We are happy with the Ipad. We did return the Sahara Folio keyboard and ordered a different keyboard case. The new case is great. The Sahara case did not meet our needs.
