Customers are saying

Customers find value in the 10.9-inch iPad Air's large screen size, ease of use, and impressive battery life. Many appreciate its lightweight design and ample storage, along with the generally positive performance feedback. However, some customers express concerns about the product's price point and the transition away from a traditional home button and Touch ID placement. A few also mention adjustments needed for the new charging port.

I love this iPad, I've been editing photos on it and the battery life is pretty good. Compared to my laptop, the iPad processes changes faster than the laptop does. In terms of specs, this iPad has pretty much everything that the iPad Pro does, it is missing a couple of features but if you are not interested in getting a faster refresh rate, LiDAR, or any of those pro features, the iPad Air is the way to go!

The Apple iPad Air functions as a great alternative to a laptop for my design work. It’s fast, and would be easy to use for any level. Along with the apps from Adobe, and the Apple Pencil 2, and the Apple Magic Keyboard, I’m able to do just about everything. The only thing I’d recommend is purchasing the new Magic keyboard with the mouse pad, because I found myself frustrated when touch-scrolling the screen, and ended up buying a bluetooth mouse.

I’ve only had it for a little while but I am happy with my purchase. I’ll sometimes go a few days without charging since it’s new it has a great battery life. I use it for studying, note taking, and watching videos for school. The note taking is very fun and it’s easier to carry around than my laptop. I love that some apps let me run 2 apps side by side at the same time.

Having had a few iPads , and an iPad Air 2, I have to say this is the best one to date. Compared to prior versions, this one is very fast, and much easier to transition all my Apps from my older device. The lack of a Home Button did take some time getting used to... The larger screen is a big plus. As far as I'm concerned, I think this is the best model yet, unless you absolutely need the additional features of the iPad Pro.

This iPad is amazing. I love how much you can do on this. The ability to purchase a pencil separately and use it on the iPad is an added benefit. I’m able to take notes and drawings and upload them or send them which the iPad makes that very easy to do. The screen has such a great picture. The keyboard which is another separately purchase product really turns this into a desktop computer for me at times. It’s just so convenient

This Ipad works best for casual users. It does not have face unlock and touchID works intermittently for me, but that is not unusual. Overall, this Ipad is very fast. I can't comment on Facetimeor the camera since I haven't used them yet. But Apple, as always, provides a quality product.

The Sweet Spot for an iPad in the Field

We needed an iPad to use to show potential customers brochures and specs of our products. This iPad was the perfect fit for this because of the price and feature combo. We didn't need the Pro level specs. And the air is a 1/2 pound lighter than the Pro. So the savings in price was going with the Air made our decision easy. We considered the Mini, but the extra screen real estate on the Air is useful.

After several years of daily use I decided to replace my old iPads when they essentially slowed down to a groaning death spiral. Nothing had changed in my usage patterns nor in my requirements of the little devices, however, the succession of “updates” eventually gummed up the works like congealed dirty axel grease. Planned obsolescence finally got me. After due research I settled on this iPad Air and I am very happy with it. It functions as expected, loads and processes efficiently and displays brilliantly. Any speakers would have been an improvement over the old ones but these are very good. It has no headphone jack but nothing new does. I bought this with the magic keyboard and that is a real plus, albeit very expensive. It brings the device darn close to a laptop in versatility. All in all, I recommend this machine.

The 4th gen Air will handle all the necessary apps. 256GB seems impossible to fill. So far it is a music hub, an artists tablet, a Zoom interface, and the go-to FaceTime device. Bought from BestBuy for the personal experience and to get the right combo of colors, generation, and capacity. ProTip: get a case in the color you want and don’t fret the iPad color!

Great iPad! The screen is very bright and easy to use. It’s not bulky and lightweight. It is great for watching Netflix, Hulu, etc as well as playing games or checking emails. The touch sensor is easy to use and especially helpful since FaceID isn’t used as much when everyone is wearing masks. I upgraded from an iPad Air 2 and it’s a lot better and the movies and TV shows look more crisp and clear on this new one.
