Although it is more expensive compared to the iPad 8 it is better in every way - design, screen, storage, performance. At the same time, the price tag is still comfortable for most. You get much more satisfaction when you go up from iPad 8 to iPad Air than when you upgrade from Air to Pro, thus Air is the sweet spot. With one "but" - nowadays you often can find the 2020 iPad Pro 11 for less than $649 brand new and even for less open-box. In this case, it is worth it to pay a little bit more to get that Pro because the screen is noticeably better with higher brightness and ProMotion, not mentioning 2-times more storage (128 vs 64) and more speakers (4 vs 2). But still, Air is an awesome tablet

Product has provided me, what I think has exceed my expectations. Ease of transferring my data/apps. Noticed speed increase and also the display is much better than my previous iPad. On a side note: As a result of transferring apps/data, an app for some reason not compatible with latest IOS, prevented WIFI operation. Obtained appointment with local Apple Store, rep resolved issue in an efficient manner.

I love my new iPad Air 4. It was so easy to transfer the data from my old one. The screen is larger and very clear and bright. The new camera features are great, too. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Well, I suppose this is a different sorta review: WARNING: If you don't have access to WiFi, don't even THINK of getting this beautiful thing, because you won't even be able to get beyond turning it on! Nope, Personal Hotspot won't work. Well, apparently, if you somehow have a really fast Hotspot (try really late at night), it may actually, slowly but surely, do its thing. Aside from that time wasting pain in the butt, it now seem to be working well. Lighter than I thought it would be, which is good. Oh! No camera light on the back side! Guess I won't be using it as a flashlight. Everything looks really good and, for what they are, the speakers are pretty darned decent. Getting tired of everything requiring WiFi nowadays, just to be able to turn it on! Yes, I'm out in the boonies and may have to break down and pay some big bucks for decent WiFI. Dang! I'm actually liking it and probably would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't been for that initial surprise ... well, and the surprise of no flash on the back (there's a light for selfies, though). Oh! And I've gotten kind of used to face detection on my iPhone, so it's kinda weird not having it ... though the fingerprint reading works fine (some may even prefer it). Would I do it all over again? YES! ... but it certainly would have been nice to know ahead of time what I was getting myself into when I first tried to get things started. Don't forget: A fast enough Hotspot may do it for you ... slowly ... veeerrrryyy slllooowwwlllyyy. Well, that's definitely over fifty letters!

I upgraded from an iPad Air 2nd gen which I bought 7 years ago for the same price ($499). It still technically worked but the UI was dragging and of course it's stuck on an older iOS. I mainly use my tablet as a portable TV, so I appreciate that everything now works fast as intended. I really like the widget shortcuts for Apple TV , Hulu, and CBS News which allow me to jump back into streaming with a single tap. The screen is also bigger (10.9 vs 9.7) but I actually don't notice this as much as I thought I would. Be sure to adjust your location settings and background app refresh to optimize your battery life.

Bought this iPad for my mother for Christmas who isn’t the most tech-savvy. I only had to help her do the initial set up and she was able to dabble away with her new device within 10 minutes or so! She absolutely loves it. It’s 1000 times faster than her previous 1st generation Apple iPad. She’s able to use more apps and access more websites now with this newer version as well. Very clear resolution, she’s able to see and read well on it. She appreciates the size and weight of the iPad too! All around a great gift for a parent who doesn’t like mess around with technology too much, this made it very easy! 10/10 She loves it!

I use it for art, works great. Didn’t need ultra fancy extra expensive bells and whistles that the pro provides, and it’s met every need I’ve had.

I've never owned an Apple product new, but this was an amzing purchace for the money. This plus a pencil is an artists dream device. Beautiful screen, amazing design, and neat features if you're new to IOS. One problem is how the camera pokes out from the back so if you lay the iPad flat on a surface, it would bend if you push on it or scratch the camera, but I don't know how easily it can scratch, but a cheap case is a good fix. Using the pencil is a dream, out of the options I've tried it's the closest thing to Paper and Pencil digitally, and it should be near impossible to loose it becuase it attaches magnetically to the iPad. That's how it pairs and charges. Really cool

Gave this to my mother-in-law for her church gatherings and keep up to date on church functions. She loves it. Easy for her to work.

Very fast. Gorgeous display though fingerprints are a problem. Battery charges from 10% to 100% in 2 hours - nice! No problems with web pages and links functioning like I have experienced on Android.

Great value iPad! I bought this for school so I could take notes with the Apple Pencil! It works so nice it’s light and portable and does exactly what I needed it to do!

I love my new iPad Air 4 - Light weight, easy to use, great sound quality, nice screen size, quality graphics, long lasting battery. Most of all I can use the apps my previous iPad was too old to run.

As usual with Apple iPads, this new iPad Air offers everything that Apple has previewed - larger viewing screen, faster processor, brighter colors and and enhanced camera. Plus, a choice of colors.

I bought this to use as a second screen during class and studying for my graduate degree and am in LOVE. It process word and all my google docs and I connected it to my computer so there are real-time updates on all my note documents between the 2 devices. My computer is a surface pro so I love that I can link them even though I don’t have all Apple products. It’s also proven to be a little faster processing some apps than my computer is which is awesome as I wasn’t impressed with my surface pro and have been having a lot of issues with it. Highly recommend! I even talked one of my friends in class into getting one as well after she saw how easy mine was to use.

Best Apple product I own. When fully charged it last a good amount of time. Never glitches and is very reliable.

nothing special about this ipad. I mainly got it because the Peloton app has better options on apple then on android. I use it for when I go away and want to watch movies and for using the Peloton app.
