Love it ! This iPad Air replaced my 8 year old model which had become way too slow. The newest model is lightning fast in comparison, super light weight, very user friendly, high screen resolution and has a much better camera . I liked that the basic model comes with 64 gig too. I bought mine brand new offered at a bestbuy total tech $100 discount. Only negative thus far is that the fingerprint Id access doesn’t really work well for me but you can still always access the iPad Air via a four or six digit code.

I upgraded from the iPad pro 9.7 to the iPad air 4. This ipad is great and feels like a new experience compared to my last ipad. It is super fast and smooth. The screen is large, bright, and beautiful but is in a form factor that isn't that much larger than the old 9.7 ipads and is light. If I could change one thing,I would have preferred face ID over touch ID but the touch ID is fine and it isn't worth paying more for the iPad pro just for face ID. If you are looking for an iPad and you have the money, I definitely recommend the iPad air 4.

I absolutely love this device here. It was an upgrade to a 6th generation iPad. That was my first ever iPad so it was great as well. But the longer I had it it started to show its lack of capability and age. Many glitches and just not as fast when I first got it. Also the storage was on 32 hbu which is not drastically different then 64gb that comes with this iPad Air. I love the fact that it almost full screen vs the home button and huge bezel on the older version. It is truly worth the upgrade for this change alone! There is a noticeable speed upgrade as well. Apps load extremely fast, just as fast as my iPhone 12 Pro. This is very impressive and use it everyday now. I had a MacBook Air that was stolen so this is my primary device until I get it replaced but I have been able to make due very well so far with this device. It is very versatile. Though not like a mac, it is very useful and with a keyboard accessory can be very useful. There are also ways to print that makes it so helpful in the abcense of the Mac. The battery life is good as long as your not using it heavily. It generally last a full day of use if I am on WiFi and browsing the internet, reading, watching YouTube. I was on the fence of upgrading to the pro version but I don’t think I need to. This is plenty enough and though the storage is not in abundance, it is enough for what I use this device for. Plus I use cloud storage. I would greatly recommend to anyone looking to get into their first iPad experience or looking upgrade an older model, if you feel that more storage is important in the long run, I could see going for the higher storage.

We've had iPhones for years and been happy with them. And have briefly used the kids' iPads who swear by them. An incentive to buy one ourselves was brought about by our frequent skyping with family back east previously done on the phone. What a world of difference. We decided on the Air model with 64GB over the regular iPad 10.2-inch because it's noticeably thinner, the screen is bigger and some of the internals, etc are a big cut above. The iPad Air has been called the Pro-Light and it essentially is from our comparisons in the store. 64GB is more than enough storage space unless you're dropping tons of pictures, videos, movies, apps and whatnot on the thing. We're not. This device is a delight; easy to use, already loaded with stuff/apps right out of the box, fast, great graphics, decent camera, terrific HD screen and sound, responsive, connects seamlessly to wifi, and syncs nicely with the iPhone if you have one and want to do that. You can use wireless earbuds of course, and your wired will work also but a small $10 jack adapter is needed for the lightning size wire. So far we have zero complaints. We didn't buy a keyboard or pencil, only a nice high-end cover-case. But finger action on-screen as with your phone is direct, clean, effortless as it is with a phone. Highly recommended device.

Great if You Save $$$, 5th Gen Air w/M1 is Better

Having the benefit of purchasing the Air when it hit $399 for two days, it is indeed the best tablet for the money. I would say that its original price of $599 was at the top of perceived value, as it is creeping quite close to iPad Pro territory when the memory is increased to 256GB ($749 price vs $799). It has a superb screen, works well with the Pencil 2, does everything an iPad should do, and performs those duties well. I could easily recommend the 4th generation if the price was right, but would urge passing on this generation and moving to the 5th generation if the price difference is only $100 or less. The M1 in the 5th generation Air provides for faster processing, and unlocks some aspects of the upcoming iPad OS16.

The iPad Air is perfect, it’s a pretty big screen with good camera quality. I got this iPad to be able to do all my school work and if you just buy a keyboard it makes it into a little computer which helped out to write my school essays. Definitely recommend if you’re not wanting to buy a laptop.

Awesome screen for watching content, fast processor for all of your apps, lightweight and easy to use. My mother purchased this for my son to use for his homework, research, and watching pleasure. I use it occasionally to watch content as well. Overall a very solid iteration of the iPad at a good price.

I've been using this ipad for digital drawing for about a year now. The entire reason I purchased it was to use procreate, as prior to this I didn't have a single apple product in my home. I enjoy using this and it is very straight forward and simple to use. Has a decent battery life as well.

I'm really pleased with the iPad Air. I was deciding between this and the 11-inch pro, but decided the extra features and storage weren't worth the price bump. The screen is nice and bright. It does pick up a lot of fingerprints, so have your cloth at the ready! With the Apple Pencil, writing on it feels pretty smooth and natural. The Touch ID works pretty flawlessly on both fingers I've registered, but note that it doesn't have the Face ID that the Pro models and iPhones have. I mostly use it for media consumption and light productivity, so the 64 GB hasn't been too bad, but I can see quickly running out if I had a ton of apps or large files like pictures. The apps are all super fast and responsive and it handles multiple apps open at the same time easily. Lastly, the camera is really solid. I thought I might want the Pro for the Lidar, but don't think I would've made use of it anyway.

I was debating on getting this one or the pro max and im glad i went with the smaller one not only because it was more affordable but because i can easily carry it in a bag or small backpack or my purse. The thing i love most is it has helped me so much for school and my small bussiness.

Thin, Light, And powerful. It's Lighter than the iPad Pro, Thinner Than a Google Pixel, And more powerful than a Chromebook. I would recommend this ipad for people who want a bigger screen, and who want to jot down notes with the latest apple pencil.

Absolutely love it! I’m a Gamer, so my needs are simple. Great battery life, fast, large screen, it’s as smart as my iPhone 12. Use it to screen mirror videos to my Smart TV. Edit Drone footage on it. Does everything I’ve asked it to

Apple Hit the Value Sweet Spot with This iPad!

This is the fourth iPad I’ve purchased over the past seven years or so, and I’m comfortable saying that Apple really nailed it on this one. At the 64 gig storage level — more than enough for what I use iPad for — it’s the perfect balance of speed, functionality, aesthetics, size/weight, and price. I would agree with many other reviewers who said that if you’re going to go up to the 256 gig model you might as well spend a bit extra and go Pro. But I didn’t feel the need to do that. I use my iPad primarily for note-taking, emails, reading e-books, watching streaming videos, and gaming — and the iPad Air 4 with 64 gigs of storage is absolutely perfect for those uses. I did buy an Apple Pencil 2 because I like to take handwritten notes, and I splurged for the Apple Magic Keyboard which for my purposes truly takes the iPad 4 a laptop replacement.
