Was also looking for a better travel device between my Fire tablet and my actual laptop. This fits the bill nicely. The display is beautiful. Sound is great. Using it is mostly intuitive. I have a lot to learn but I'm excited to dig in and really use this tool well.

Would be perfect for the average user, though it does have some pro capabilities. Personally for me it was slow so I had to return. But it is a very nice device. Some of my family members already want to get it as well.

Perfect if you don’t try to make it a laptop

The air is best as a secondary device to a Mac. I might sound like I’m dissing the iPad, but that’s not the case at all. I’m just saying that it has its place. For most people, if you are a laptop user and plan on buying a pro, keyboard and pencil….it would cost more than an M1 MacBook Air. You’d be happier with it… But, yes…I love my iPad Air.
