Good replacement for an older iPad Pro.

The price of the Air is a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the newer Pro. Although I wanted a Pro, I didn't think I needed the power of a M1. First of I am disappointed in the Air that it only came in 2 storage size, 64GB and 256GB. The iPad Air is slightly wider but has a larger viewing screen (edge to edge) which is a plus. The weight of the iPad Air seems heavier than the Pro which is a negative. I tend to hold the iPad with my thumbs on the front screen. With the Pro, there is a larger bezel to place my thumbs than the Air, which is a negative. The Pro is 5 years old so it is expected that the Air is much faster and responsive, which is a positive.

I have had a mini for years, and thought that was what I would get again….This still fits in one of my bigger purses and not as heavy as I thought it might be…..The bigger screen is great, and love reading books off of this iPad. I am also a a big Pinterest user, and I really like the big pictures. I use this iPad for pleasure and it is great….. Joan

I had an iPad Air 2 (purchased Jan 2016) and was very happy that Best Buy gave me a $115 credit for it. The touch ID on the button at the top is very convenient and simple but I feel like it's one of the best features. My son, who bought an iPad Pro a few months ago is envious of this. This iPad is fast, the screen looks amazing and I have no regrets about buying it.

Good For College

So far it has been amazing, it gets the job done. It's small enough that it doesn't take space but not as if it's a phone either. The design is beautiful, especially in this color and it works really well.
