I can't believe I actually bought this for myself! I'm so glad I did! I LOVE the iPad Air and the Apple Pen! It's so nice, and fast! I bought it, to learn Procreate,and I do not regret it! I'm an Android using, and I'm loving having an Apple Product! Everything about the iPad Air is amazing!!!! Trust me, get it!!

I previously had a MacBookPro, so it is taking a while to get used to a much smaller screen and keyboard. But I do think I will like the lighter weight and smaller size when traveling.

Happy with the purchase, but should've opted for the more GBs! Easy set up, lots of cases available on Amazon, I would recommend one for more durability!

This is a really nice iPad. I didn’t open it up for a few days because I thought I’d have to take it in to transfer data. (Was a birthday present from my husband) Opened iPad, BIG SURPRISE! It said to bring my old iPad close by and it copied EVERYTHING from the old to the new! I ended up having to reset a few passwords was all. What a time saver! I have the extra keyboard also, a must for me, and it much better than the old one, but just missing some of the keys I used a lot, like mute, up and down sound keys, and up and down iPad screen lighting keys. So need to use the buttons on the iPad itself for the sound, not as quick. I don’t see any way on the iPad to turn up or down the lighting on a whim. The logon button works much better than the old one. I set it up with both index fingers which turned out to be perfect. I use the left to have it horizontal and the right if I use it vertically. Trying to figure out what to do with the old one now.. I’m not sure about the battery life or durability yet so I left those blank.

A phenomenal computing experience — it’s just so fun to use! As a student, I use it along with the Apple Pencil as a digital notebook using GoodNotes. I thought the writing experience would feel subpar, but in a way I actually prefer it to paper since the gliding on the glass helps me to write faster. I would also recommend getting the Magic Keyboard if you can — while pricey, its so compact and definitely has transformed the way I use the iPad. Without a physical keyboard, the typing experience isn’t as fast and not as enjoyable. I did try to use a separate bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but it became a hassle to have to keep pairing them and carrying around separate items. The only thing I wish was different about this iPad was the screen size — wish it was a bit bigger (like the larger iPad Pro) for multitasking and document editing! Also, some apps such as Excel differ from the desktop version in ways that I’d much rather just use the desktop version for serious work (e.g. keyboard shortcuts, certain features). Nonetheless, its still great for drafting, short pieces and quick edits when it comes to typing documents.

Perfect sized display screen. Great quality, my kid loves it. Battery could last a little longer but it’s about the average battery life as and other apple product. Great for watching movies on road trips, especially when the kids get restless. Easy WiFi connectivity and it charges pretty quickly.

I wish I could say this was the iPad perfected but the fact that it doesn't have any type of Face Unlock and you have to use your finger at the very top power button over the home screen just feels inconvenient. I love that it comes in different colors, I got the green one. I don't see why they felt they had to remove the headphone jack from the iPad saying that it's primarily a device that you would use at home. My recommendation is wait until it goes on sale and don't pay full price. It works and it's good for upper quality iPad and it looks more premium compared to the cheapest basic ipads.
