    All is good. This is a 5th Generation iPad Air to replace my 4th Generation. Functionally they are the same, but the battery life is much better. It is what I was looking for.

    I spend almost as much time on my iPad as I do on my iPhone, if not more. I definitely spend more time on the iPad than my laptop. So when it came time to update my iPad I didn't hesitate to get another iPad Air which now has the M1 chip. Smooth data transfer from the old to the new iPad. All of my accessories work with it, too. Very pleased that I decided to do the upgrade, especially since iPadOS 16 is coming and will take advantage of the M1 chip.
