I had multiple connection problems when using it with the Apple Pencil, and the device often froze or lagged during basic tasks. On top of that, it heated up more than expected, which made it uncomfortable to use. Because of these issues, I eventually decided to sell it. For the price, the overall experience was terrible.

Convenient device when you don’t need to start up your desktop. Wouldn’t replace a laptop though. Battery life could be better that’s my only complaint

Its also increased productivity in meetings with a solid note taking app. Next up is the kindle app for reading.

Many apps are higher quality and the Apple Pencil works great with it. I use this iPad all the time. I choose the iPad Air because it's a good middle option. More features and quality over the standard ipad, and not as expensive than the iPad Pro.

It is exactly that! He can use the Pencil 2 to draw with Procreate, he can use the Magic Keyboard for convenient nights of doing his homework, and he can chat with his friends over iMessage. What more could me need?
