    If I could give zero or negative stars I would. The Touch ID will not work on this iPad. I did not realize that Best Buy’s return/exchange policy is so short! I am under treatment for cancer and most days I don’t want to get out of bed. But, I was going to have help today to go to Best Buy only to discover that on this the 17th day since it was delivered I am too late. Unbelievable on both counts, a new apple product doesn’t work (either has the Siri on my new iPhone 15) and now my only option is to go to the mall to the Apple Store. Hmm, we’ll see how long it takes me to get there. Not happy to say the least.

    Purchased this open box iPad Air 5 gen in “excellent” condition, got told it was retuned a day later with no issues reported and it was throughly tested. turned it on and set it up about 3 days later while it remained in the box until then. I had lines going across the screen of dead pixels. Called Best Buy support spoke to 2 different people that I couldn’t hardly understand and they said if I take it back it would be replace fully and at no charge since I was in the “10-14” day window. So I went back to the original store of purchase over a hour away. And was offered to get my money back and pay the difference of a new one or pay the different of another open box ( that probably wasn’t gonna work properly away). Defeating the whole purpose of a replacement because it didn’t get properly tested. So I took it to Apple and they replaced it for me and sent it to my house. Another thing Best Buy couldn’t do for me. Would I recommend this. Don’t buy open box because they clearly don’t test well enough.

    I was really disappointed with this iPad. I had multiple connection problems when using it with the Apple Pencil, and the device often froze or lagged during basic tasks. On top of that, it heated up more than expected, which made it uncomfortable to use. Because of these issues, I eventually decided to sell it. For the price, the overall experience was terrible.

    Yesterday this iPad Air was on sale for $399 I thought about buying it online and then I thought no it looks like it’s in stock at the Gurnee location so I went into the store and The store rubbed help me ring up the unit but when we discussed the trade-in he had me go up to the cashier at the front to work out the process between the time I looked at it in the morning then at approximately 1 PM when the rep first rung up the unit and then 10 minutes later going to the front desk all the stock was gone supposedly. The sale was due to run out in approximately six hours I kept checking back in periodically but it said it was unavailable on the website. Today when I went online to look the unit is in stock and now it’s not priced at 399 it’s priced at 499. I’m very disappointed in Best Buy over this policy obviously the unit was in stock and I could’ve purchased it at 399 I would very much like a response. I would like to purchase a unit but at the sale price thank you.

    I recently made a purchase at Best Buy for an iPad, and what should have been a routine transaction turned into a nightmare of misleading promises and frustrating customer service. The agent I was in contact with during my purchase process not only failed to deliver on their promises but also left me feeling utterly betrayed by Best Buy's practices. Upon making my purchase, the agent enticed me with the prospect of a 10% cashback offer on my first order if I applied for a Best Buy credit card. Eager to save some money, I followed the link provided by the agent to apply for the card, only to find that there was no mention of the promised cashback option during the application process. When I reached out to the agent for clarification, I was instructed to proceed with selecting a different option—a 12-month APR free, 0-interest plan—and assured that I could call back on Monday to rectify the situation and claim the promised cashback. Reluctantly, I complied with their instructions, hoping that the issue would be resolved promptly. However, what followed on Monday was nothing short of a Kafkaesque ordeal. Every agent I spoke to seemed oblivious to the promised cashback offer, and instead of receiving assistance, I was subjected to hours of fruitless conversations, with each representative passing the buck to the next. It became painfully evident that there was no intention of honoring their initial commitment. To add insult to injury, the last agent I spoke with abruptly ended the call, leaving me stranded with no resolution in sight. Not only was I deceived into selecting a payment option that did not align with the promised benefits, but I was also subjected to dismissive and unhelpful treatment from Best Buy's customer service team. This entire experience has left me deeply disillusioned with Best Buy as a company. Not only did they fail to uphold their end of the bargain, but they also wasted hours of my valuable time and showed a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Best Buy for any future purchases, and I will be sure to warn others about their deceptive practices and abysmal customer service.

    Every recent iPad Air i've tried (4th or this 5th gen) has a poor quality LCD thats very sensitive to even moderate touches and distorts. You can easily test this out in-store with display models too. This is not a problem on iPad Pros (which are just using a higher quality laminated display it seems) I do not recommend this. Apple needs to do a lot better with their mid-range iPad.

    Worst item in my apple eco system… the battery life if so bad. It dies like in 2 hours. But the price is good and i plan on using it for a hot min, other than that, its ok and it runs smoothly

    The iPad itself is great but the delivery process was the experience I’ve ever experienced. I will NEVER order anything from Best Buy ever again. It was my daughter’s birthday and instead of receiving the iPad I purchased, I received some headphones. I went through much trouble trying to rectify Their worker’s incompetence.

    Installing two apps, some music, and no pictured with a 64GB iPad air, my storage was pretty much full and was slow after one day. I'm not entirely sure why Apple would make a superior iPad model with only 64GB.

    Wish they had a zero star rating. It was a great iPad for exactly 6 days. I put it on the charger before I went to bed on the 6th day and when I went to use it the next day it was dead. Black screen. Wouldn’t turn on, wouldn’t charge, nothing. Just dead. Then BestBuy wouldn’t take it back unless it was erased which made no sense since I couldn’t erase it BECAUSE I COULDN’T TURN IT ON! He sent me over to, ON MY OWN, try to figure out how to erase it through iCloud. Then of course I figured out that it couldn’t be erased because it wasn’t connected to WiFi. And it couldn’t connect to WiFi because …. You guessed it…. IT WAS DEAD!! Finally some genius on the GeekSquad heard what was going on and offered to look at it. He couldn’t get it turned on but he did manage to get it at least deleted from my account and considered that good enough and signed off on the return. He refunded my purchase and as I walked out the door he was processing the order to authorize it sent to the iPad graveyard. He said what happened to it was rare but he had seen it several times more recently. He said it most likely got fried when it tried to backup overnight and whatever made that happen (sorry I’m not a tech person) was corrupt and killed the processor.

    I originally purchased this item on December 16 for my daughter's Christmas present, it showed that the item was delivered but I when I got home there was no package nor did I get any alerts of anyone dropping off the package on my camera. I contacted best buy and told them and was issued a replacement but I made sure to require a signature, which was good. Well I've been waiting for ipad every since then because my order says delayed and I've made atleast 10 phone calls and over 10 hours on the phone to get nowhere. The agents keep trying the same thing even though I tell them that other agents have done tried, nobody has a actual answer on why it's not changing or available fo pickup. I was hung up on today for asking to speak to a supervisor. I just don't understand why not one agent can give me a straight and truthful answer, I just keep getting led on. It's now been a month and idk what to do???

    I needed a new iPad and upgraded to this one. I highly recommend it. It is so easy to use. Also so happy I purchased it from Best BUY, because they were so helpful in showing me how to use it.

    Bought an open box that had all accessories per description and the cord was missing. Power block was there. Spoke to customer service and they said I needed to go to the store and get one from a blue shirt at no cost. Involved in a hurricane so can't get to a store. Disappointed.

    I think the product has a manufacturing defect. Hang out in a few minutes. Total waste of money. I bought it, and it was with an issue. Within 15 days, I returned and ordered another one with the same issue. My daughter does not use it. I would not suggest to buy it. Better to buy the old model. Two years back, I bought it for myself; it works well.

    This iPad is one of the worst products to buy at BestBuy. I have never bought a product that bad in my life. I will rather use my iPad 1 then buy another iPad from the apple store. I will really give zero stars, but I can't. Never Again!!!!
