Love the new design and can do lite laptop computing in a pinch with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Mostly used to consume media and web but photo editing and lite video editing on M1 on ipad apps works really well. Stage manager is clunky with ipad os holding back what an ipad can really do.

I’m currently writing this review on the additional Apple Smart Keyboard Folio attachment. It makes this device a pleasure to use. This is a great investment which I had made because I was looking for an upgrade from my iPad Mini 5th generation. It was showing its age but I was picking between the Air and the 6th generation Mini. I ultimately picked the Air due to a price match. The battery life is very reasonable, definitely upholding Apple’s advertised stats. The display is high resolution and has very suitable brightness for indoor use. I suspect the visibility wouldn’t hold up in bright sunlight, however, compared to the iPad Pros. The performance exhibited by the M1 is the main reason I chose this over the Mini, and I have no doubts that this tablet will continue to fly for years. Apps open quickly, browsing the internet is a breeze and the 8GB of RAM allow for multiple, responsible tabs. I have not tried gaming yet but the reviews which I have seen only had good things to say about performance. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase, although the speakers could be a bit better. They are stereo but are not as loud as I’d have hoped, and don’t have nearly as much clarity in the low-mid range as for instance my MacBook Pro speakers (which isn’t a fair comparison but worth mentioning). I’d recommend an additional keyboard attachment for this device if you’d like to have a much easier time typing. Currently, without either holding the tablet like I’m playing a game or tilting my neck uncomfortably low, typing is not the easiest on the tablet alone. You can likely find either an Apple keyboard on sale or an aftermarket brand with similar functionality, for a reasonable price.

Very nice, thin and light weight. Screen size is much better then the older Apple Air it replaced. Colors are vibrant and crisp. Love everything about it!

Great Ipad! I upgraded to this from the 6th generation Ipad Mini and it is fantastic! The screen is wonderful, the battery life is great and it works well with all of my accessories! I was able to trade in my Ipad Mini and I got this on sale so it was a great deal for the M1 Chip!

I am a long time apple product owner and this ipad lives up to my expectations. It’s sleek, light, works well and pretty! The picture quality is great and resolution is very nice. I dont need the functionality level of the Pro and im glad i went with an Air!

Amazing product!!! My girlfriend can’t stop talking about how cute the color is. She uses it for work and school and says it’s so useful when she needs a bigger screen. The battery last for a good while and the screen is awesome.

Nice iPad with a perfect-sized screen and Apple Pencil support. Got it on sale for $500 and for that price, this is a close as it gets to a perfect device. Good battery life and easy to use. I didn’t need an iPad Pro and this device is better than the entry level iPad. Perfect for folks to want to browse and stream with the ability to do some extra like gaming.

Great tablet for work/ school related tasks. Compact so you can easily carry on in your bag, purse, or even on-hand. It runs smoothly, great features and the battery last throughout the entire day. Even more efficient with accessories (pencil, keyboard etc).

Purchased as a much-needed replacement for my iPad (gen 9; with the home button). When note-taking, the new iPad lasted throughout my entire day (~6-7 hrs) and only needed a bit of extra charge on my longest day, compared to my old one which needed charging after about 3.5-4 hours. The new placement of the fingerprint sensor is much more natural and was welcome as the old one was a bit awkward. Initially, the body felt more flimsy, but I eventually got used to it (chalked it up to the device feeling much lighter than it actually is) and discovered it was more robust than I had thought. The increased screen area means it works so much better as a second screen to a laptop/desktop. In terms of accessories, I really appreciated the new braided cables but didn't really like the new power brick as it's sometimes too wide to plug in other cords next to it. Additionally, it is purchased separately, but the Apple Pencil 2 is incomparably better than the first version.

This iPad has the M1 chip and is essentially the same as the 3rd generation iPad Pro. The battery life, screen, performance are all amazing. Very happy with it. I wish it had face recognition like the pros but the Touch ID isn’t bad.

I bought this for working on the go and it’s been perfect. The quality is great, screen size is large, and it functions well for my emails and apps. I use a mobile hotspot so did not need to go with the cell service option. The Apple Pencil is absolutely necessary and a gamechanger.

The screen quality is good, speakers are loud, fingerprint unlock is annoying at first coming from face ID on an iphone pro but you get used to it. The only difference with the Ipad pro is the face id unlock, camera, 144hz and the slight screen upgrade. Otherwise, this with a apple pencil is great to do what an ipads supposed to.
