Nice iPad for the price only issues is I barely dropped it maybe 6 inches and the screen cracked so I’d recommend a case and screen protector at time of purchase

I miss the Home button and hate using the finger print on the side when there is a cover on the tablet. Makes it almost impossible with long nails. The app switcher usually takes a few tries until the tablet complies.

Purchasing this iPad was easy and straight forward. Only issue was the charging port failed and geek squad was unable to confirm the serial number due to the iPad not being able to turn on. I was told that my apple care through my Best Buy membership would not apply for this reason. I understand the situation but it really does kinda suck because now I have to go the Apple in order to correct this faulty charging port. Other than that it was a great purchasing experience.

I bought my iPad new but had to return it as it would not set-up beyond the first four or five steps, refusing to sync with my iMac Studio. I brought it to the Best Buy help desk. The Geek Squad guys tried their best, but were not able to get it to perform any better. IMHO. likely a glitch in shipping or manufacture. I do most appreciate the efforts of the Geek Squad guys. My purchase was cheerfully refunded. This was probably one of those "one-in-ten-thousand" occurrences. I own a number of Apple products and would consider buying another.

Decided last minute to save an additional $15 by buying their “Open Box - Excellent Condition” online offer since it stated “No Dents or Scratches verified by Geek Squad and Includes all Parts and Accessories” just not in original packaging. Mine arrived in a thin cardboard sleeve containing only the IPad. No Apple USB-C Power Adapter; No Apple USB-C Charger Cable; No Essential Documentation. Talked to Best Buy Avon OH store customer service where purchased. Told not to expect much when buying open boxed the “Product varies”. They DO NOT stand by their purchasing descriptions Excellent “Undamaged All Accessories Include”, Good “Maybe Slightly Damaged Accessories Maybe Included” or Fair “Damaged Accessories Not Included”. Solution by Store: Return IPad Reset to factory settings. WOW! Go through the process of changing over to new a IPad then undo over a charging cable. Will never purchase from Best Buy again. FYI - Recently had to buy a new Iphone. Did not even consider Best Buy.,

My review is not based on product but on Best Buy customer service which has been beyond poor. I did not receive the 2 iPads I ordered as Xmas gifts and received a notice from Best Buy and Roadie letting me know that my delivery of the 2 iPads was "Canceled. Sender Technical Problems" at 1:59 pm on December 2, 2025. I have unsuccessfully attempted to have Best Buy refund the almost $600 I paid for the iPads and Best Buy has failed to address this matter despite the fact that they have documentation confirming cancellation of the delivery of my order. Instead, Best Buy investigated delivery of another order (which was actually delivered) and closed the file on my request for a refund. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy again.
