Got this as a gift. I don't use my ipad for much except streaming and light browsing on the web so for this price point and features it does this trick

The iPad 5th Gen is a solid everyday tablet. It’s fast enough for browsing, watching videos, and using common apps without lag. The screen looks sharp, and the battery lasts a good while. It’s not the newest model, so it doesn’t support Apple Pencil or fancy features, but for basic use—especially for kids, students, or casual users—it gets the job done well. Great value for the price

Used to be strictly laptops but the tablet is very nice for workouts and transporting. I don’t love the iOS formatting changes over the years.

I purchased this iPad for my eleven year old grandson as a graduation present. The excitement on his face and in his voice upon seeing this gift was absolutely priceless. His mother took him to Spain as a graduation gift. He took the iPad with him on his trip. He really treasures his iPad. I have purchased several other iPads from Best Buy in the past for other grandchildren. They were all received with excitement. My daughter was given one during the time she was having chemotherapy treatments. She took it with her to every treatment.

This is a perfect model to replace my 13yrd daughter's aging ipad. She basically uses it for music and some app based games and this suits her just fine.

Great for kids, especially while traveling. All of our grandkids have one.....

This thing is the perfect iPad for someone who uses it for the basics. I got my wife the pink one and she loves it.
