When you pinch to zoom, or use an Apple Pencil with any pressure, a black swirly dot appears. It’s because the display is a thin layer of unsupported glass that flexes in the middle like a trampoline. I got the same one in a different color. It has the same issue, so that tells me they all have it. Plus I read online and others have the same problem. Also it heats up a lot, and the sound isn’t great at all. Other than that I like apple products and iPads a lot. I’m forced to return and upgrade.
