Low rating is not relative to the ipad itself (I haven't even opened the box yet) but rather to Best Buy's return/exchange/price match policy. I purchased the ipad instore, spoke at length to a very knowledge rep handling the purchase, and understood I could return or exchange it within 30 days. On the 14th day, I saw a lower price on Best Buy website; waded through a ton of instructions leading me to countless 'dead ends' trying to contact the right people/department to request their price match. After many attempts and wasted hours, I finally reached someone by phone on the 16th day after purchase. I spoke with a pleasant rep who could not help me with a price match, or exchange, or return BECAUSE they have a 15 day NOT 30 day return policy! It didn't matter that I had been trying since the 14th day to figure out their website instructions. Very disappointing, time consuming, and confusing non-friendly website instructions.

iPad is great BUT Best Buy charged me twice for the SINGULAR item i bought and got an attitude with me and said there’s really nothing they can do. When the girl went to refund me for the extra charge that came out of my account ( same exact price as the iPad ) she tried to keep the iPad i bought and i had to fight her on that saying she wasn’t keeping the iPad and i just need my money back for the second charge. do NOT buy off of Best Buys website!!

Haven’t had it long enough . But didn’t have a good experience buying it. Expected that my old iPad would be transferred to my new one. The associate- manager wanted to charge me $40 to do that after I paid full price for my new iPad . I have always had that service free.

Why is the battery dying so fast, it like when I young it dies

Do not purchase from Best Buy, it isn’t worth it. These devices are the same prices at other retailers. Best Buy “shipped” my item over a month ago. It was lost in shipping and they still refuse to refund my money. Absolute scam. Their online representatives keep saying that the refund will be processed in X days but nothing ever happens. The worst part, this isn’t the first time that’s happened. Save you a headache and stay away from Best Buy. I have been a Best Buy Rewards member for years but I’m canceling my account after this. It isn’t worth it when other companies are so much easier to deal with. The other times have been smaller items but this time it was my daughter’s Christmas present, which they ruined. I’ll never make that mistake again.

I love everything about this iPad except the front face camera … it really sucks and messes up the whole vibe of me wanting this model definitely will be upgrading sooner than I thought

Apple user interface is nit very intuitive. I had a difficult time using the ipad when i wasnt within wifi range. It seems most of the function require a wifi connection.

iPad works fine. I like that it has more memory added.

We purchased this tablet at Best Buy in Flower Mound but it was defective it was freezing when we turned it on. We went back the next day to exchange it. The front manager name Maria couldn't override the exchange and had us wait for an 1 hour as we have to get a password to remove the Apple account. I understand the Apple requirement but the way Maria handle it and said "yeah I am the manager" just to me was rude. The unwillingness to resolve it quickly and even told us to just come back. She needs a training if she's the manager.

This was very hard to load. Then when we looked on line to try to get some instructions, it told us it was not new, but refurbished, we did not buy a refurbished, we bought a new and paid for a new. When we tried to get help at the store, the just told us that it was our problem, and they would do nothing to help.

Works ok only I can not get face book account as before.

This is an iPad that was designed to basically make you purchase the next one up and Apple does not care about sales but just designed like other lower models to move up to the supposedly good Apple Intelligence, which in my opinion this is OK quality not great for other people who do not know how to use the AI which you know isn’t always something I would normally buy but you know I bought one for my girlfriend. Best Buy’s Shipping Company Sucks, They Stole My Package, I had to get this item from a physical store after they refused to give me a refund for it. The iPad is good though I recommend this item.

The Staff at Houma store is terrible. I bought 2 iPads on October 7 for Christmas gifts. My family changed their mind. Yesterday, October 30, 2025, Keep in mind, less than 30 days of purchase, I tried to return brand new UNOPENED iPads and was told no by store employee, manager, and general manager. GM offered me a store credit. NO WHERE ON MY RECEIPT, ONLINE ORDER OR TIME OF PICKUP I WAS TOLD IT’S a 14 DAY RETURN POLICY. I was also to by store employee the manager and General Manager have a discretion. Maybe someone needs to look at the manager and General manager on training employees, especially with the holiday upon us. I have spent plenty of money in this store, but after the encounter I had with this store… I will NEVER spend another penny in Best Buy.

Great ipad but the battery life isn't great we used to have a older Samsung tablet and the battery would last longer that this one
