This iPad is great for work of play. Small enough to fit easily in a backpack, large enough to fit your work on the display. And, the display is excellent.

I recently purchased this iPad and let me tell you it really helped me out for my small business. I started a small Photo Booth business and I was looking for a tablet that had a great front camera and long battery life. I used it 2 weeks ago and the pictures it took were just great. I had people asking me what kind it was and my sister even liked it so much she decided to get one as well. So far so good. Have only been using a couple days and the screen feels so much bigger (even though it is not much). It is running so much faster than my 4 year old iPad. Definitely an improvement!

This is my first iPod... I know right! Anyhow, I bought it mainly to control my music streaming and stereo receiver. I also found it wonderful for traveling and getting/sending emails. I dislike using my phone for emailing and my 27" iMac doesn't fit in my suitcase so this is great size wise. Being on the lower end of iPads didn't matter to me. If you plan on loading it up with apps and programs that need more processing power or storage space you're going to have to spend a little more. This iPad is plenty for my needs. The 11" screen is a great middle range size.
