Clearer and larger viewing area. Battery life seems much improved.

this was to replace an older, smaller one that had been given to me. It is bigger and I was able to download some apps that I could not on the old one. It works well and I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

First of all, I am incredibly impressed with how well this works as a tablet given its position as the cheapest currently in production Apple tablet. Navigating iPad OS is pretty easy and intuitive, and I have found both basic web surfing and lighter apps to be incredibly snappy. I have found some issues with running basic games, as I am unable to get Hello Kitty Island Adventure to even launch, and Balatro worked initially but now refuses to launch as well. In addition, I found the speakers to be pretty tinny, and are hard to hear in a room with background noise. These complaints are nothing compare though to the two biggest pluses of buying this over another lower-end tablet. Which are the screen, and the battery. I use my iPad mostly to take notes at work, to read, and occasionally watch YouTube. This adds up to 1-2 hrs daily use on average, and I have to charge it no more than twice per week usually. In addition, the screen is fantastic. I personally think it is on par with most other OLEDs, which given its much cheaper price, and that it is a touch screen, is outstanding. As for the meh parts, the camera is fine, but not as good as an iPhone's camera. I like it well enough for quick photos. I like the iCloud integration and syncing of photos and other files between my Apple devices, but it means the moment I am without internet the magic is immediately ruined. Overall, if you want a good quality tablet for a reasonable price, with no compromises on the features you actually want from a tablet, this is the choice for you.

Great solid unit again this is my. Very first ipad using it for some prorgrams im sure the pro version ir the air model is better but im amazed how. Nice the base model is performs well have nit had any issues great battery life overall awsome device will most definitely eventually upgrade in near future

On my third one! My kids love these I had to buy each one after noticing how laggy their old tablets are. The colors are nice and the battery last a good amount of time. I am planning on getting my son a blue one for Christmas since he’s a older and more responsible!

This is a nice upgrade from the iPad it replaces, a Gen 8. It has a very nice screen and snappy performance. I only use it for email, Apple News, web browsing and YouTube. Works fine, but I’m hardly taxing it.
