The IPad itself has a nice sleek design and a much faster performance compared to the 10th gen. Also having more storage was a better option as a gift for my sister because she likes to post and record content. It’s makes me wanna trade in my old IPad now lol

I was hesitant at first, wondering if it was really worth the money, but I finally decided to get it for my child. It's a well-made, interesting tablet with strong performance and a decent amount of storage - 128GB in the base version, which I think is the bare minimum for tablets these days. However, the biggest downside is the display. In 2025, having only a 60Hz screen feels very outdated and disappointing. It really takes away from the overall experience, especially when compared to other devices on the market. Still, the powerful processor helps make up for it, and it runs very smoothly. Good product overall, just wish the screen was better.

When I bought my first ipad in 2018 for $329 (iPad 6th gen, 32GB), I thought it was a fair price. Somehow almost 8 years later, I was able to replace it with this iPad that is over an inch bigger and has four times as much memory for $279 (on sale). You don’t see that type of price stability very often. Despite some of my misgivings with Apple as a company, and my general frustration with the iOS platform, I applaud them for maintaining such reasonably priced entry level devices (I’m also an iPhone SE loyalist). This is especially noteworthy since many companies are raising prices, more than circumstances would seem to justify, while blaming it on the economy, government, etc. I know that I would be getting better performance and screen resolution/brightness with a higher end device, but for the price, this one is really hard to beat. All in all, I generally prefer the Android platform, but if Apple continues to produce such solid devices at these price points, then I’m definitely willing to stick with their platform for phones/tablets.

It is not a best iPad obviously but it is definitely good enough, best budget iPad I ever used. A16 chip is definitely good enough for basic task, maybe some intermediate task. I use them for internet browsing, and watch youtube. Nothing crazy. Size is good size, nice feeling, and beautiful color (blue). Battery life is overall great. Not a heavy user but for me it last more than a day. Definitely recommend to anybody who wants simple, good enough iPad. Very nice item, with a lot of awesome features. The only one missing is the Face ID. The size is great, the storage is great, the display is great though not top of the line. Overall, no Face ID is the only complaint.
