Replaces a much older iPad. The performance is fine for what my wife does with it and it was substantially cheaper than the other models available. Runs all the latest apps etc just fine. The color is great.

Like my new iPad. Last one was dropped on the floor and broke the screen in many pieces. My experience at Best Buy was about not to happen. I was in the iPad location for over 20 minutes without a single employee acknowledging my presence. I had just started to leave and an employee said someone would be with me soon. That person must have been disruptive from something, but did help me with my purchase. He was telling a coworker that his lunch was due and informed me that employee would finish my purchase.

Perfect ipad for playing games and watching shows. Battery life is good even when you have a bunch of games/tabs open in the background.

Excellent for price, works for what I need it for. I do not do any heavy usage that requires power but seems to handle day to day basic usage with slight graphic usage.

Traded up from an iPad Gen 7 (Wi-Fi and 128GB) to this after 6 years. The Gen 7 was working fine (except for battery life degradation) for my use cases - YouTube and some educational apps. For the price point, specially when offered on sale, this is an attractive option.

Works great! I was concerned this might under perform compared to an M series Air, but it seems to be doing everything we need it to. The USB C pen works great with it as well.
