Pros:
* Performance: This is where most people will think it is no high performance beast, but it will do most of what all people want.
* Value: $70 off with a trade in for old one at big box store… no question it has value
* iPadOS 26: While the multitasking is a great addition not very useful for most unless you use it for productivity. This will hopefully get more features though as there is a future for multitasking.
* Design & Features: all the modern features except monitor extension and other than the cheaper screen it is not much different than Air.
* Longevity: Updates for several years to come and with trade in value it will only get better.
Cons:
* Display: Screen is not “laminated” but not an issue, still looks and works great but would be a great update.
* No Apple Intelligence: Still have not met anyone concerned about this.
* Accessories: No Pro pen support The keyboard is floppy, would love to see them make a cheap Magic Keyboard.
* Pro Features: not for high end work done fast but plugged in it will eventually finish.
Who is this for:
Anyone who doesn’t use an iPad for work, productivity, or anything that makes money unless you have a little extra time on your hands. Everyone else will love it.
Why get an iPad instead of the MacBook Air? You can’t download shows from apps on MacBook Air making travel without WiFi boring.
Why get a MacBook Air instead of iPad?
If you are the family tech support and have to reset several Apple devices… but still get an iPad for consumption on the go.
I would recommend the iPad to anyone who wants a tablet, literally anyone, any age, any time.

This item was not in stock, so I had to order it. It wasn't a terrible inconvenience since it isn't a necessary item. Store staff offered to order it for me; I declined and almost did not make the purchase at all.
The iPad has performed as expected. This particular model is smaller and more convenient than others. The display is really sharp, the processor is plenty fast, and the battery life is good.

The 2025 iPad with the A16 chip is a budget-friendly gem, offering a sleek design, vibrant 11-inch Liquid Retina LCD, and snappy performance for browsing, streaming, and light gaming. With 128GB base storage, 6GB RAM, and 10-hour battery life, it’s a steal at $349. iPadOS 18.3 ensures smooth operation.

I bought the iPad A16, otherwise possibly known as the iPad 11th generation, as an upgrade to my previous Bestbuy purchase of the iPad 10th generation 64GB.
For essentially the same price, i got double that storage 128GB and a slightly faster processor.
So now i am future-proofed.
I am very happy with the new ipad A16 and its performance. Battery life is actually a bit better. And of course the usual apple pride of ownership.
I am also a Bestbuy Total member, and i am glad to have the included protection.

The Apple AirPods 4 are simply outstanding rich, immersive sound, impressive noise cancellation, and that magical Apple seamlessness we all love.
Pair them with the 11-inch iPad, and you get a powerhouse combo: a gorgeous, super-responsive display, blazing-fast performance, and surprising portability.
Together, they turn everyday tasks, streaming, and creativity into something truly special. Magnificent design, flawless experience Apple at its best.

Much faster than my old one. Much lighter than my old one much better battery life than the old one. I really do like this new iPad. I got it with the pencil and the keyboard case and it’s basically Iike having a portable computer.

I honestly use my iPad more than my phone (writing this on my iPad now). Speed is great, battery life is much better, and there’s more storage. Love this product

I got this for my fiancé as an early birthday present so he could use it for his DND campaign and so he could draw. So far he is loving it! He said it was easier to use during his campaign than his laptop and loved how it didn’t take up as much room on the table for the game!
He is loving it for drawing as well, I ordered the 1st generation apple pencil usb-c as that one is compatible and is the best for drawing. He hasn’t drawn as much so I’m unsure how long the tips will last but so far so great! The battery life on both has lasted a long time, I gave him everything around the 10th of november and he’s only had to charge the ipad twice and the pencil once.

I purchased this iPad as a replacement for a much older one. The speed, battery life and visual effects are far superior to the old one. The screen size is larger without becoming cumbersome. I am happy with the upgrade.

Good update to a 9th generation iPad for my child. A16 chip is able to do enough for school and have capabilities for light mobile gaming. Good speakers (we use garage band) for this price. Works with their old aftermarket usb pens. 128 GB size is much appreciated for long flights. was able to last a light use long weekend without issues. USB C port is also great as now we don't need a lightening cable.

The iPad powered by the A16 chip is a strong step forward for Apple’s standard tablet lineup. Performance is snappy and reliable, making everyday tasks—like browsing, video streaming, note-taking, and light gaming—feel effortless. Apps launch quickly, multitasking is smooth, and the A16’s efficiency means excellent battery life even with heavy use.
The display continues to be one of Apple’s strengths: bright, sharp, and responsive. While it’s not on the same level as the Pro models, it still offers beautiful color accuracy and plenty of clarity for reading, media, and creative work

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my Mom and I haven't heard one complaint or negative thing about it. Fyi, she's 70 years young and I was wondering if she was going to be able to set it up on her own & transfer data without my help and yup, she was fine. She's not a gamer so I can't provide any info in that area as far as processing speed. She uses it for your basic things like, email, listening to her favorite apps "pocket fm" & online shopping, so for her it's perfect.
