    This iPad does not use Face ID but does have touch ID on the power button. Overall, it’s a good device for what I use it for, but can tell that it does lack features from a more premium tablet.

    Bought it for my mom who's 92 since her iPad that was probably around 10 years old had started acting up. She took to the swipe up as opposed to a start button that she was used to, really well and is very happy with it.
