So far so good. Have only been using a couple days and the screen feels so much bigger (even though it is not much). It is running so much faster than my 4 year old iPad. Definitely an improvement!

The iPad powered by the A16 chip is a strong step forward for Apple’s standard tablet lineup. Performance is snappy and reliable, making everyday tasks—like browsing, video streaming, note-taking, and light gaming—feel effortless. Apps launch quickly, multitasking is smooth, and the A16’s efficiency means excellent battery life even with heavy use.
The display continues to be one of Apple’s strengths: bright, sharp, and responsive. While it’s not on the same level as the Pro models, it still offers beautiful color accuracy and plenty of clarity for reading, media, and creative work

This is my first iPod... I know right! Anyhow, I bought it mainly to control my music streaming and stereo receiver. I also found it wonderful for traveling and getting/sending emails. I dislike using my phone for emailing and my 27" iMac doesn't fit in my suitcase so this is great size wise. Being on the lower end of iPads didn't matter to me. If you plan on loading it up with apps and programs that need more processing power or storage space you're going to have to spend a little more. This iPad is plenty for my needs. The 11" screen is a great middle range size.

I’ve been using the new 11-inch iPad with the A16 chip for a bit now, and it’s been excellent. The performance is super smooth—apps open instantly, multitasking feels effortless, and streaming or browsing has zero lag. The screen size is perfect for portability without feeling cramped, and the Blue color looks really clean and modern.
Battery life has been solid for daily use, and it charges quickly. It’s great for note-taking, watching videos, or doing light work on the go. If you’re upgrading from an older iPad, the speed difference is very noticeable.
Overall, it’s a great balance of power and portability. Definitely worth it.
