I bought this iPad A16 for my elderly father, who needed a way to get to his emails and social media. In the past he used a PC, but that wasn't practical for the facility he's in, hence the tablet. The iPad is good looking and solidly built. The screen is excellent, and sound is good as well. I only dinged it one star because I bought it based on Apple's reputation for ease of use. But unless you are already familiar with their products, it is NOT something that an elderly person can easily learn. The interface is quirky at best. An android device would have been less expensive and probably easier to use for someone coming from a PC background. So, for Apple users, it's great, for others, just so-so.

This Apple - 11-inch iPad A16 chip with Wi-Fi - 128GB has been an excellent addition to our technology devices for our home. My wife uses it to read her favorite online books, games, Facebook, watch You Tube videos, and shared with our granddaughter.

This purchase was prompted by my mother's local newspaper going all digital. It was easy for me to use, since I already have an iPad, but my mother had difficulty using the Touch to Open option. I would suggest that if this is an issue for others (being able to use the fingerprint option to unlock), get one of the newer versions. But, it worked fine using her passcode.
