Only because after buying myself one for christmas I received another from my family members and rather have the Pro over the air. However for the 3 weeks I used it, I loved it and was very happy with the performance and ease of compatibility with the rest of my apple products.

Bought this to be able to communicate more with my grand daughters who live far away by using facetime. The video clarity is excellent during our calls. I love the performance of the ipad so much durint use with other apps and such that Im using it more than my phone now, which is an android! Thinking of going back to all apple devices now once again!

The Air line up from Apple is where 95% of buyers should be. This has a beautiful screen with a fast processor. Purchased for autistic toddler to have her communication apps and other things and it's been great. Held up to her throwing it at random times too. The weight and size is perfect for her hands and I don't have to worry about a small screen causing vision damage as an iPhone could. Having it and various educational apps and YouTube videos as well as special needs language apps has enabled her to learn so much faster, she's already reading and saying sentences (like "please wait to be seated" on a restaurant sign) at 3yrs old!
